Sitting for hours at the computer makes feet go cold at this time of the year even though the rest of me feels OK. A rug to put my feet on did not work. Now I pop the feet warmers in the microwave for 60 secs and problem solved. Pleasant warmth and nice wriggely room to enjoy the tingling warmth make up for the bit of a nuisance of having to change into walking shoes or slippers whenever I leave the computer.

I bought these for my daughter - she is enjoying them enormously and has nice warm feet during this cold weather, but leaves a trail of wheat behind her wherever she goes. We have sewed up one of the pads, but it seems they are all going to leak.

Aroma Home Microwaveable Feet Warmers
It was not clear until I received them that these were slippers you were not meant to walk on. This is impossible and before you know what you are doing you are walking in them. The bags with the seeds in them were of very poor quality and they burst after a few weeks and have been put in the bucket. The idea behind the slippers with bags above and below the feet and material covering the ankles appears good but they just don't work.
